Chilli (Slowcooker or Instapot)
Ingredients
- 1lb. ground beef
- 1 diced onion
- 1 diced bell pepper
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 10.75oz cans of tomato puree (1 24oz can of crushed tomatoes)
- 1 15oz can tri bean blend
- 1tbsp chilli powder
- 1tsp salt
- 3/4tsp basil
- 3/4tsp oregano
- 1/4tsp black pepper
- 1 cup frozen corn
- pinch of red pepper flake
Slow Cooker
- Brown beef in skillet and drain greese
- Place beef in slow cooker with onion, bell pepper, garlic, tomato, beans, corn and seasonings then mix
- Cover and cook for 8 hours on low
Instant Pot
- Add ground been and cook in saute mode until cooked through
- Add onion, bell pepper, garlic, corn and seasonings and mix together
- Add tomatoes and bean, but do not mix to avoid scorch
- Cook on high pressure for 10 min and let natually release
- If chilli is too thin, simmer on saute mode for a few mintues until desired thickness is reached.
