Sausage and Ricotta Naan Pizza
Ingredients
- 2 pieces of naan bread
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup cooked sausage (Italian or your choice), crumbled
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or arugula (optional, for garnish)
- Red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
Directions
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the Naan:
- Place the naan bread on a baking sheet.
- Brush each naan with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the Ricotta:
- Spread a generous layer of ricotta cheese over each naan.
- Top with Sausage:
- Evenly distribute the crumbled cooked sausage over the ricotta on each naan.
- Add Cheese:
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese on top of the sausage.
- Bake:
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the naan are golden brown.
- Serve:
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute.
- Garnish with fresh basil or arugula and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes if desired.
- Slice and serve immediately.
